About

My name is Naomi and I have two wonderful children. I started my business after my daughter fell in love with her silkie as a baby. I just love to have her name on it and she is always sure to sleep with her “purple blankie”! And now my son never sleeps without his either and loves his “flat blankie” as he lovingly calls it. I love making personalized items for people that are usable, yet can be kept as keepsakes after the children are done with them, and this is my hope with Baby’s Silkie, to provide babies with something that can become their special “love and comfort” item. This is also a great way for me to do something special for other babies through their relatives and friends. I love to hear stories about the babies and their blankets too! My hope with Preemie Silkies is to provide tiny babies with a tiny baby silkie more their size in the weeks they spend as preemies and to continue to use as they grow and eventually become a keepsake item.  I have had many friends go through the unique experience of having a preemie or someone they love having a preemie and my heart has been drawn to these parents and their precious babies.
